Objective To compare the nutritional status of patients undergoing chemoradiotherapy with continuous enteral nutrition therapy and intermittent enteral nutrition therapy. Methods 100 cases of radiotherapy and chemotherapy were randomly divided into the control group receiving intermittent enteral nutrition therapy and the observation group receiving continuous enteral nutrition therapy in the department of radiotherapy from June 2016 to June 2017. The effects of nutritional status in the two groups were compared. Results There were no significant difference in PG-SGA scores and biochemical indexes between the two groups before intervention, and the difference between the indexes after intervention was statistically signifcant (P<0.05), and the improvement effect of the observation group were better than those of the control group. Conclusions Compared with intermittent enteral nutrition therapy, continuous nutritional support was more helpful to improve the nutritional status of patients with chemotherapy and to improve the level of endurance of the body. It also helps to improve the immunity of the patients, thus shortening the time needed to restore the function of various tissues during the radiotherapy and chemotherapy cycle, to avoid and to reduce complications, to reduce the number of days in hospital, to save the cost for the patients and to avoid the middle end of the course due to malnutrition. It can be used as a clinical selection scheme.
