Zinc and tumor

Abstract

Objective To investigate the relationship between zinc and tumor. Methods Applying the PubMed, the Google scholar, with "zinc, zinc deficiency, tumor, cancer" as key words, for the retrieval of suchliterature in recent 10 years. Inclusion criteria :(1) Relationship and mechanism of zinc deficiency and cancer or tumor; (2) Relationship and mechanism between zinc sufficiency and cancer or tumor, according to the standard income thereferences below. Results Zinc deficiency is more likely to induce cancer or tumor which is associate with many factors, such as body anti-oxidation dysfunction, inflammationraised, DNAdamage, genetic mutation and so on. Conclusions People should ensure a balanced diet, and keep all the nutrients and trace elements in moderate condition.
